I have been teaching students for over 20 years, both privately and at schools, colleges and as part of BA, BMus and MMus degree programmes. Many former students now have successful careers as performers or teachers themselves. My students have ranged in age from seven to 70.

Excellent technique, co-ordination, time and reading are essential to any working musician, as well as a good sense of general musicianship. Whatever your goals or aspirations, these are all covered with a series of lessons tailored to your personal needs. If you’re looking to improve your technique, time, creativity, reading, independence and repertoire then please get in touch.

Please have a look at The Shed for some free ideas, lessons and drumming blog posts. This website also has more information, photos, videos and links to things I’ve played on. There are testimonials from a few of my students here as well.

Please get in touch via the contact form for further details. I look forward to hearing from you!
